Resident Bio
I’m from Northern Virginia (just outside of Washington, D.C.), went to college in St. Louis, and medical school in Roanoke, VA and happily returned to live in D.C. for residency. I have a strong interest in cardiothoracic surgery as well as in medical and surgical education. I came to GW because of the strong clinical training with abundant academic support, and the opportunity to pursue a career in any field of the surgery. I also think Washington, D.C. is an amazing city that offers everything anyone could want, from sports to music to arts and history, all with a fantastic food scene.
