Resident Bio
I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the United States after finishing high school. I have a background in aerospace engineering and worked as a design engineer for a few years prior to attending medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. I plan on pursuing a career in pediatric surgery and look forward to linking it to my passion for global surgery. What I love the most about Washington, D.C. is how diverse it is, making it an ideal place to practice medicine, and raise a family.
