Resident Bio
I’m from Dallas, Texas and I’ve always been interested in blending studies in medicine, biology, and technology. In pursuit of this interest, I completed undergraduate and graduate studies and translational research in Biomedical Engineering focused on bringing innovative engineering concepts to medicine. To further accomplish my goals of improving healthcare and patient outcomes, I pursued medical training at Paul L. Foster School of Medicine where I discovered my passion for surgery. I’m committed to the GW Surgery program because of its strong clinical training, academic support, and sense of community. I am interested in minimally invasive, vascular, and plastics and reconstructive surgeries. While my allegiance with Texas is still strong – especially with regards to the Cowboys vs. Commanders rivalry – I’m looking forward to exploring the many athletic, cultural, and historic aspects of DC as well as spending my off time with my surrounding family.
