Resident Bio
My family emigrated from Mexico and settled in Glendale, Arizona where I grew up. As a first-generation student, I attended college at the University of Arizona and then spent two years conducting research at the NIH before starting medical school at UCLA. Having spent time in DC, I was thrilled to return for residency knowing I would receive strong academic and surgical training at GW. I love everything DC has to offer and have grown especially fond of the people I’ve met so far.
