Resident Bio
Born and raised on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, I’m an eager surgical resident and an “island girl” in every sense of the word. I’m also an active duty Lieutenant in the United States Navy and look forward to traveling aboard the commissioned ships, becoming more immersed in global health - providing medical care to and learning best practices from other countries. When not in the operating room, I enjoy trying new recipes/restaurants, traveling, dancing, and spending time with my nephew - Mekai. Since moving to the mainland US in 2011, I’ve called Washington D.C. my home, fell in love with its culture and people, and am excited to return to join the GW Surgery team.
