K. Benjamin Lee, MD

Resident Bio

I was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Spring, Texas. I love all facets of general surgery but most passionate about vascular surgery. I chose GW for its excellent training and its small class size, which allows us to develop strong mentor-mentee relationships with the attendings, and also have a tight-knit community of co-residents. Being in Washington, D.C. also allowed me to explore my other interest in health policy at a federal level. I love living in D.C. because of its amazing social and food scene, great music venues, its diversity/culture, and its close proximity to everything you want. It’s like living in a big city without having to deal with the hassles of a big city.
