Resident Bio
I was born in Richmond, Virginia and grew up in North Carolina, where I studied Chemistry and Anthropology at UNC before completing a master’s in medical physiology at NC State. Before starting medical school, I worked as a nursing assistant, which gave me some of my earliest and most meaningful lessons in caring for patients during difficult times. Now in DC, I’ve really fallen in love with the city, the energy, the food, and especially the community I’ve found at GW. The support from faculty and the camaraderie among the team make it such a special place to grow, and the diverse patient population constantly pushes me to think deeply and act quickly in providing the best care I can.
Outside of medicine, I’m usually watching whatever game is on, exploring new restaurants, or trying (sometimes unsuccessfully) to recreate dishes in my own kitchen.
I’m still open to different paths in my training, but I find myself especially excited about Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. I love how it blends creativity with precision and gives me the chance to partner with patients in shaping how they want to see themselves in the world.
