Resident Bio

I was born and raised in Kentucky and stayed for both college and medical school where I attended the University of Kentucky. I was always fascinated with anatomy in medical school and my passion drove me to pursue a career in surgery. I came to GWU because of the hand on and comprehensive surgical training and, most of all, because of the cohesive residents and attendings that make up the residency here at GWU. The DC area has been a great place to live and I have enjoyed all it has to offer, whether it be hiking in the nearby national parks or fishing out in the bay.
