Resident Bio
I’m from San Juan, Puerto Rico, lived in Boston, Massachusetts for my undergraduate and graduate studies, and obtained my medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. I have a passion for medical and surgical education and my clinical interests include trauma and surgical critical care. I came to the General Surgery program at George Washington University because of its exceptional clinical training, focus on surgical innovation, wealth of research opportunities for residents, and the palpable sense of community and support between residents and faculty. Coming from a tropical island, I also love experiencing four distinct seasons while enjoying all the great restaurants, museums, and incredibly rich history Washington, D.C. has to offer.
