Resident Bio
I was born and raised in northern Virginia and am very excited to be back in the DMV! I earned my B.S. in Chemistry and Sociology from Union College in Schenectady, NY and also graduated with an M.B.A. in Healthcare Management through Clarkson University. I attended Albany Medical College, and throughout medical school, I worked on research projects with the CTACC department at GW. I was struck by how welcoming, supportive, and collaborative the residents and faculty were during my research experiences at GW. Those experiences initially drew me to the program, and my away rotation only reinforced that GW was my ideal place to train. I knew I would be challenged to grow into the best surgeon I can be while being supported by a community that genuinely invests in its trainees. I am excited to be a part of the GW Surgery family, care for patients in Washington, D.C., and train in a program that combines exceptional surgical education with a culture of mentorship and camaraderie.
