Resident Bio
I'm from Plymouth, Michigan, and completed my undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, where I studied Public Health and Environmental Science. After graduation, I moved to San Francisco to work in clinical research at the UCSF Breast Care Center. I returned home to attend Wayne State University School of Medicine. During medical school, my interests expanded to include medical education, quality improvement, and street medicine. I chose the General Surgery residency at George Washington University because of its clinical training, supportive learning environment, diverse patient population, and strong opportunities to pursue academic surgery. I'm excited to spend my free time trying new restaurants, biking around the city, and exploring the surrounding parks.
